Dobecki, M.D.

Introduction
Dr. Douglas Dobecki is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and former Assistant Clinical Professor of anesthesiology and pain medicine at UCSD Medical Center. Dr. Dobecki completed his pain medicine fellowship at UCSD under Dr. Mark Wallace, and has an extensive background in interventional pain management and chronic medication management.
Dr. Dobecki’s medical practice focuses on personalized and compassionate patient care coupled with advanced interventional therapies to alleviate pain. His clinic provides expert care in a comprehensive environment which affords patients the benefit of a multidisciplinary approach. His clinical interests focus on the use of spinal cord stimulation for the treatment of post-laminectomy pain syndrome, CRPS/RSD, low back pain, peripheral neuropathy, and vascular claudication.
During his pain fellowship and faculty career at UCSD, Dr. Dobecki presented his scientific research at the national meetings of the American Pain Society, the American Academy of Pain Medicine. He is also a consultant instructor of advanced spinal cord stimulator implantation techniques.
As a native of San Diego, Dr. Dobecki is committed to the health and welfare of the community through his professional and personal activities. When not practicing pain medicine, Dr. Dobecki enjoys spending time with his family and surfing.
