Michael J. Huntley, M.D

Dr. Huntley has practiced Pain Medicine in San Diego since 1991. His practice is dedicated full time to Pain Medicine.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with Subspecialty Certification in Pain Medicine. His residency was in Anesthesiology at the University of Louisville, where he was the chief resident and later was a clinical professor in Anesthesiology. He underwent medical school at the University of Colorado. His undergraduate degree was in Chemistry at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
He is the Department Chair of Pain Medicine at Scripps Mercy Hospital and the Medical Director at Mission Valley Heights Surgery Center. His hospital affiliations are at the Sharp Memorial and Scripps Mercy Hospitals. Dr. Huntley is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, California Society of Anesthesiologists, International Spinal Injection Society, San Diego County Medical Society, and the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Huntley enjoys mountain biking, photography, scuba diving, meditation, viticulture, sculpting, yoga, and golf.
